Alexa handles numerous aspects of the patent and trademark process ranging from patent and trademark searching, initial application drafting, and responding to Office Actions. She drafts provisional and non-provisional patent applications while communicating with clients to ensure an accurate and encapsulating description of the invention for filing. When preparing Office Action responses, Alexa includes amendments to the application and arguments to overcome the cited art rejections and to put the application in condition for allowance. She also thoroughly reviews and edits patent application figures and drawings to make certain they are accurate for the USPTO. Alexa also has experience with international intellectual property matters such as preparing PCT applications and design patent applications, and responses for foreign associates.
